Van Engelen & Evers can look back on a very inspiring week thanks to its exhibition, \u2018Woven Into Detail.\u2019 It also marked the official launch of a new product line, namely weaving jacquard fabrics 1.5 m wide under the name of EE Exclusives. The reactions of the designers, artists, and architects as well as the more than 30,000 visitors were very enthusiastic.<\/p>\n

The biggest compliment we received was given by Thomas van Widdershoven, artistic director of the Design Academy Eindhoven, \u201cIt\u2019s the most beautiful thing I\u2019ve seen this week.\u201d All these responses only confirmed our decision to develop two new weaving machines especially for this purpose.<\/p>\n

Our 115 years of excellence and craftsmanship are being highlighted more than ever now that we are working together with top national and international designers to develop wall panels, interior furniture pieces for Moooi<\/a> and fashion collections for Walter van Beirendonck<\/a>, using this very same technology.<\/p>\n

The inquiries are continuing to come in at a fast pace, including requests to visit our production facility. In December, Marc Evers will celebrate his 25th year as director, which we think is a perfect opportunity to organize an open day, the date of which will soon be announced!<\/p>\n
