This means more shipments and packaging material. Not great for the environment. And so we started looking for a sustainable packaging material.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal and focus: no more plastic in the mailers. It&#8217;s our goal to work with a mono-material packaging, that can be recycled.\u00a0Compared to a cardboard box, a mailer saves space (volume) and weight. This means less transport vans and causing less emission.<\/p>\n<h1>About the material<\/h1>\n<p>The material is not paper neither plastic. It&#8217;s made from wood fibers, but treated in a different way than paper.<br \/>\nThis treatment gives the material other characteristics such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moisture-resistant<\/li>\n<li>Very light but still strong<\/li>\n<li>Soft feeling, more flexible than paper<\/li>\n<li>Good tear strength, unique for the paper category<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20905 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eelabels.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Paptic-ee-labels-mailer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1318\" height=\"865\" \/><\/p>\n<h1>Safe and certified<\/h1>\n<p>The material is approved for food packaging.
