After a lovely Christmas holiday we are back in the office and the machines are running full speed to deliver all orders. At the moment our delivery times are slightly longer due to the production closure.
Since 1937 (!!) at EE we send a woven christmas wish to our relations.
First this was a woven calendar, fully in style of the 60’s/70’s/80’s or 90’s. Nowadays it’s a woven artwork developed in collaboration with a designer or artist.
This year’s design has been made by Marcos Kueh, our talented intern. In his woven christmas wish past, present and future come together. The weaving tradition of the original inhabitants of Borneo and the values of a 121 year’s old family company, translated into fresh ideas and produced on modern machines. Marcos inspires with his positive attitude and effort to connect. The world could use some more of that at the moment!
