EE Labels, most sustainable label producer in Europe

In 1856, Henrik Evers moved from Krefeld to Brabant to establish a ribbon weaving company. Sustainability at that time was primarily a question of good quality and durability. His enterprising spirit in achieving this, has stayed with us over time as we continued to set the bar higher. We now aim to become the most sustainable label manufacturer in Europe.

jules-clarysse1With our own weaving facilities in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Turkey, as well as offices in Hong Kong, India, and Vietnam, sustainability and quality remain the keystones to our philosophy. We recently joined the Covenant for Sustainable Clothing and Textile to cooperate with a broad-based coalition of sector-specific organisations, labour unions, social organisations, and national government bodies to improve the international clothing and textile production chain and make it more sustainable. One of Covenant’s goals is to deal collectively with issues such as hazardous working conditions and environmental pollution. You can find more detailed information on the Covenant here.

EE Labels has progressed even further by gaining their STeP certificate from Oekotex, a certification system for retail companies and manufacturers from the textile chain to communicate achievements regarding sustainable manufacturing processes in a transparent, credible and clear manner. With our intelligent labels – solutions for traceable fashion via an integrated QR code, RFID chip or unique number – we aim to make it easier for our clients to also make a significant contribution to a more sustainable textile industry.
